Bio
Amber Madume is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and Oklahoma. She holds a Master of Science in Human Resources with a concentration in Counseling, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services Counseling with a focus on Services to the Deaf—all from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.
Amber describes herself as a “hope holder” for those who may have temporarily lost theirs. As a relational therapist, she values authentic connection, trust, and empathy as the foundation for meaningful therapeutic growth.
Her clinical experience spans college mental health, community mental health, and residential treatment for Native American women recovering from substance use—an experience that deepened her connection to her culture and reinforced her passion for giving back. Amber’s counseling approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, emphasizing respect for each client’s unique story.
When working with Amber, you can expect a partnership grounded in honesty, compassion, and collaboration. She believes you are the expert on your life—and she will meet you where you are, encouraging progress, not perfection.
Outside of her work, Amber enjoys making memories with loved ones, exploring new places, uncovering great bargains, and visiting historical sites.
